Our grandparents never needed an app like this. Life happened in one place. The land was beside the house. The gold was in the almirah. The one bank had one passbook, and it sat in a drawer everyone could point to.

Children lived in the same house, or down the same street. When something happened to someone, nothing was lost — because everyone already knew what there was, and where it was. Nothing needed writing down, because everyone lived close enough to know.

Then one generation left. The first graduates in their families — maybe your father, maybe you — moved out of the hometown to build a life. A new city. Sometimes a new country. They earned, saved, and invested in ways no generation before them could.

And along the way it scattered: accounts in four banks. Provident fund from three employers. Policies bought over twenty years. Mutual funds bought directly from different companies, each with its own registrar. Digital gold. A plot back in the hometown. A locker in a branch they visited twice.

Life got bigger. But something else quietly happened: one person became the only one who knows where everything is. Not written anywhere. Just in their head.

Their children grew up in other cities, sometimes other countries. They don't know the LIC agent's name. They've never seen the locker. They couldn't say which of the six banks matters, or that there's a plot in the old hometown at all.

When something happens, the knowing leaves with the person. The family is left searching drawers, guessing at papers, and calling offices for months. That's how more than ₹1.84 lakh crore sits unclaimed in India today. Not fraud. Not carelessness. Simply that the family lived far away, and nothing was ever written down.

That's the whole reason this exists. Not an app idea chasing a market — a problem we watched happen in our own homes, to people we love. We built the thing we wished our own families had.
